Surprise Engagement: Melissa & Eric || Ashland, OR

This is Melissa, Eric, and Dominic. Melissa is my cousin and I also live with them. I’ve been taking photos of Dominic since he was born, I've got the high contrast / with my own DIY backdrop photos to prove it. But i’ve got to say this is my favorite session with them. For multiple reasons: 1. It’s family. 2. The scenery was beautiful. 3. I knew that Eric was going to propose to Melissa!

This was our second attempt at family photos, since the first time didn't workout with our schedules. So when Eric told me the day before the shoot that he was going to propose we both knew that Melissa wouldn't expect a thing. It was so special to capture Eric asking Dominic if he could marry his mom. The expressions were priceless and I was so happy to capture them. Or when Dominic ran back down after Eric had popped the question!

So proud and happy for you guys! Love you much. ❤️
